Why should I invest in the Del Rio Chamber of
Commerce?
BECAUSE I have a business stake in
this community which can best be safeguarded by working with others through
the Chamber to protect and advance all businesses. I help ensure this
community's progress which, in turn, ensures the success of my business.
BECAUSE my support is "plowed
back" to yield many-fold benefits in new industries, increased payrolls,
health, safety, legislation, business protection, and community advancement.
BECAUSE membership in the Del Rio Chamber
of Commerce means a better and more prosperous community - a dividend which
offsets the investment many-fold.
BECAUSE the Chamber of Commerce cannot
carry out its broad program of work to protect and advance Del Rio businesses
without personal service and adequate financial support.
BECAUSE Del Rio, without a strong,
effective Chamber of Commerce would not be competitive with other cities
for new industries and new payrolls.

When a business makes an investment in the Del Rio Chamber
of Commerce...
• The designated representative is eligible for
election to the Board of Directors.
• The designated representative of the business
and his or her employees may volunteer on numerous committees.
• A Ribbon Cutting ceremony by the Red Carpet
Ambassadors is available to new Chamber businesses and existing Chamber
businesses that have new ownership or management, extensive renovation,
or a new location.
• The designated representative is invited to
attend the next Board of Directors meeting as a guest.
• The business is immediately added to the computer
directory listing and will be listed alphabetically and by classification
in the next annual Membership Directory and Internet Directory.
• An article about the new member's business will
be under "News About Members" in the monthly newsletter.
• New members' first business insert in the Chamber
Newsletter is at no cost (a $70 value)!
• Members and their employees are invited to the
monthly "Business After Hours" mixers to network with fellow
members. Drawings are held for door prizes and a cash drawing.
• Members may purchase ad space on the official
Chamber City Map.
• Members may participate in the Gold Card Program,
which targets our Winter Visitors.
• Members are eligible to join the Del Rio Military
Affairs Committee, under a separate membership, and promote their business
at Laughlin's Welcome Parties for Student Pilot Classes and Non-Commissioned
Officers' groups.

There are two types of membership:
• Business membership ($247.50 annually)
Open to any person, firm, corporation, partnership, trust, or estate.
Members have voting and advertising privileges, are eligible for Ribbon
Cutting ceremonies, and may hold elected offices.

Open to any responsible person who wishes to support the Chamber. Members
are often persons on various committees who are not associated with any
business membership.
